Terms of Service

Introduction
Welcome to Hirecruite. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, AI-powered interview platform, and related services (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and promising that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, participating in an interview, or otherwise accessing the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Description of Service
Hirecruite provides a platform that uses artificial intelligence to facilitate technical interview screening. Features include:
• Automated question generation based on job descriptions and resumes.
• Text, audio, and video interview recording.
• AI-assisted transcription and assessment of candidate responses.
• Interview integrity monitoring and proctoring signals.
• Dashboards for recruiters to manage candidates and review results.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
User Accounts
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Take full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Recruiter accounts are intended for use by professional hiring teams. Candidate access is typically initiated via an invitation from a Recruiter account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.
• Submit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property.
• Attempt to bypass any security or proctoring measures.
• Use any automated system (bots, crawlers) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Interfere with the performance or integrity of the Service.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code or underlying AI models of the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, AI models, and branding, is the exclusive property of Hirecruite and its licensors.
Between you and Hirecruite:
• You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., resumes, recorded answers).
• By submitting content, you grant Hirecruite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the Service to you and your authorized recruiting organization.
• AI-generated draft assessments and recommendations are provided for your internal use only.
AI Disclaimer
Hirecruite uses advanced artificial intelligence to assist in the interview process. You acknowledge that:
• AI outputs (transcripts, summaries, scores) are generated by algorithms and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• AI assessments are intended as a decision-support tool, not as a replacement for human judgment.
• The final hiring decision remains the sole responsibility of the recruiting organization.
• Hirecruite is not liable for any hiring decisions made based on the Service.
Payment Terms
If you are a Customer using paid features:
• Fees are as specified in our pricing plans or a separate order form.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each term unless cancelled.
• All payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
• We may change our fees with 30 days' notice.
Launch / introductory pricing:
• During our launch period, certain plans are offered at promotional ("intro") rates that are lower than the standard rates published on our pricing page.
• The standard rate is the rate Hirecruite intends to charge once the launch period ends.
• The launch period ends when Hirecruite reaches its first 100 paying customers (across all plans), or at such other milestone as Hirecruite may publish on its pricing page.
• When the launch period ends, all active subscriptions including those signed up at the intro rate will transition to the standard rate on the next billing cycle.
• You will receive at least 30 days' email notice before any such transition. You may cancel before the transition takes effect.
• Annual subscriptions in effect at the time of the transition will continue at the rate locked in for the remainder of their then-current annual term, and will renew at the standard annual rate thereafter.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also cancel your account at any time through your settings.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIRECRUITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY HIRING DECISIONS MADE USING THE SERVICE; OR (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action related to these Terms shall be brought in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
